Self Healing with Reiki

The original Reiki tradition suggest all the new attuned Reiki practitioner to do this self healing practice daily for straight 21 days without day off in between. This practice consist of hand placement on 12 locations on your body for about 3 - 5 minutes each.

But I found out that you can simplify this by just placing your hand to one location only at your own convenience of location and time. If you don't have any health problem, just put your hands on the heart chakra. Just rest your palms between your collarbone and heart center and intend to channel energy through your heart chakra. If you have stomach problem put it on your solar plexus and likewise other problems just choose the nearest chakra. Aim the energy in your mind to search problems in your body and heal it. You might direct it to clean all your Chakras one by one, and all energy channels in your body.

If you have spare time, do it in your room with your eyes closed so you can feel the energy flows and enjoy the sensations within. Find yourself the most appropriate time which will minimize the disturbances while you are on this healing process.

But if you hardly have free time to do it, you still can do it while you're doing other activities. Practice it when you're in a car, of course while you're not the driver. While watching television, while on the phone, or in meetings. If you don't want to take too much attention, don't put your hands on your chakra, instead put it on your lap .. not other person lap cause you might get slapped Laughing

Everyday we are surrounded by negativity. The unhealthy meals we had, the dirty air we breathed, the gossip and shouts we heard or spoken, etc. Daily practice is a way to fill up on the lost of positive energy and cleanse the accumulated negativities. There might be some discomforts on self healing just like after you were attuned, but it was a cleansing process. The dust may get blown when you broom the floor, but that will not stop you, don't you? Just be patient and you will get the results.
