The Spiritual Diet

I just finished reading a diet book based from Ayur Veda and have these idea to write it here for supporting your spiritual practices.
Energy is the fuel for the engine - that is your body, there's no meaning having a huge deposit of fuels for a broken engine
Another thing is always eat all three meals at the same time every day, to get your body used to regular routine, it will be more efficient in digesting. Eat your main meal at noon, when the sun is strongest and the digestive fire (Agni) reflects that strength. If you want to reduce your weight, eat only milk or cereal or fruits in the morning and evening, only taking big meal in noon.
You don't have to be a vegetarian to practice Reiki or Yoga, even though it's the best practice but not everyone can switch to be a vegetarian easily, so do I.. anyway, so let's take one step at the time.
Eastern philosophy conducted a study of Chakra power in correlation with foods come with this recommendation, here are the foods and their respective Chakra:
- Muladhara Chakra, for grounding and stability: Protein, red foods
- Svadhisthana Chakra, for creativity, fluidity, change: Liquids, orange food
- Manipuraka Chakra, for strength, integrity, humor: Carbohydrates, yellow food
- Anahata Chakra, for breath and unconditional love: Vegetables, fresh greens
- Visuddhi Chakra, for clear communication: Fruits, especially blue
- Ajna Chakra, for mental clarity: Coffee, tea, cocoa, sugar (mood altering)
- Sahasrara Chakra, for pure spirituality: None, fasting
Wow, so if we want to be more spiritual we must fasting more, of course. Not that tight dude.. In a lot of spiritual books written that we must take more attention to the upper Chakras started from Anahata Chakra to the Sahasrara Chakra, so let's eat more fruits and vegetables and less meats and carbohydrates. But you should include common senses too, don't drink to much coffee and sugar to open your Ajna Chakra (Third Eye) cause you'll be dead before you get there
Everything is good in balance, don't eat too much or less from your need. We will discuss more.. later.
