What do you want in life?

Some of us may answer this question with confidence, with so many various answers: health, wealth, love, friends, fortunes, etc. But a lot of us need a few time to think again before speaking out your own version of life's ambition.
Having lifetime ambition is not a crime at all, instead it gives you purpose and direction. What do you want in life? What does it take to get there?The thing is, when you become obsessed on it, you will break when you failed to achieve it. I won't talk about motivation here cause you could get it easily in the book store, I just want to quote a nice script in the movie I saw a few nights ago: Pushing Daisies, session 01 episode 07.
Here are the scripts: "Everyone wants stuff. We wake up everyday with a list of wishes mile long. And maybe we spend our lives trying to make those wishes come true, but.. just because we want them doesn't mean we need them to be happy."
It made me remember one of my favourite quotes in Bhagavad Gita (2.71): "One who abandons all desires, and becomes free from longing and the feeling of 'I' and 'my', attains peace."
So, am I happy now? Yes I am. How about tomorrow? I'm not so sure. But I'm trying to make happiness become my decision, independent from others.
Copying that quote, send me back to the past. When I have everyone, My Gramps, My Pap, My beloved boy friend and my ‘brothers’ around, I felt that I am!!! such an independent woman. But when I lost them all, felt like I depend on them. I need them.
Maybe it’s the karma of ‘you don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone’? Maybe I wasn’t graceful enough to have them around.
But I’ve made a promised to you that I’ll keep my spirit high and never giving up ’til the end. As I won’t make promise that I couldn’t make it true, I’ll do my best to make this one true
