I believe in Karma

Before the end of 2007, my life was great .. at least from my point of view. But then came the worst pain I've ever had in my life, HNP what was the doctor called it, it stands for Hernia Nucleo Pulposis. On my last day before the surgery, everytime those pain emerge it made me crying like a sissy. Begging for someone injected more sedative to my blood stream. I was thinking, what the heck I have done that deserve this kind of agonizing pain.

Sometimes when the pain is so damn hard, my mind screaming : where the f**k are you God ? Even though I wouldn't blame God on this, I just did, maybe because of the pain was exceed my hardiness. But my sanity know this is not a punishment, this is only the result of my previous actions that so called Karma.

Yapp, God is fair to us. You get what you gave. I have to include some phrase from BhagavadGita 9.29 : "I envy no one, nor I partial to anyone. I am equal to all."

But why some people living their life in wealth even though they are criminals and others that living virtuous life are ill-fated. Man without knowledge of Karma will immediately blame on fate, destiny. Or worst, blame God. Or might be better, thinking God is testing their faith.

Come on dude, God is not avengeful puppeteer playing puppet or crazy gambler throwing dice on your destiny. We have the same chance to have a cheerful life, but we ruined it somehow and sometime. Karma is not running only in one life, but in several cycles of life that we called Reincarnation. This is another story, cause a lot of people refuse to believe Reincarnation, although there's a lot of occurence that prove the truism. Christian Theologian, Dr. Geddes Mac-Gregor wrote how Reincarnation was removed latter because of political power of Justinian Caesar, in his book : "Reincarnation in Christianity".

Let's get back on topic, Karma has three ways of redemption :

  1. You get the fruitage of your current action in this life.
  2. You get the fruitage of your current action latter in your next life.
  3. You get the fruitage now of your action in the previous life.

That would explain my situation, why am I a good person got into these agony. I'm not a saint, I did some bad stuff but only some youth naughtyness, not as bad as those Indonesian thick-skinned Corrupt Government (ha.. ha.. sad). I blame no one but me by doing things right from now on. Sometimes a little sin is okay to keep this life fun, but hey .. I am not encouraging you on that. Well, the doctor did great job, my gratitude for dr. Ketut Martiana. This doctor is very good, and he gave me discount too .. ha .. ha .. this is supposed to be secret, but how many people with HNP will read this blog, go to the same doctor, and then claim for discount too ?

I like this REINCARNATION part. In case that I’ve rejected the reality that I’m a part of it. But my eyes opened by my beloved future wife, Marrie-Ann and dearest angel, Dhinie. Thanx to them and thanx to Kadek for writing that quote.
